THE GREEK GODDESS PERSEPHONE

This is Persephone she is the Greek  goddess of springtime and happiness. She is the daughter of Demeter and she is also the wife of Hades.Hades is Demeter brother and he saw Persephone one day and captured her and made her forced to marry him.She was stuck in the underworld with him forever. Another fact about Persephone is that she is the nice of Hades so all of this is sort of a big mess because if that is her uncle then whoa, this is to much lets just go on with the writing.Three characteristics  about her is that she is pretty always in a good{happy} mood, and last thing is that she is really nice to a lot of people, well she was until Hades captured her.

MY OPINION ON HER

Persephone was a girl that pretty much was just walking along enjoying life and she loved everyone too.Many people believed she was a good person then when Hades took her away everyone was so disappointed and sad and depressed of what Hades had done with their Goddess.Her biggest strength was that she had always been loved by everyone and no one did not like her.Her biggest weakness however was being tricked by Hades like some people she was very gullible.

when most people think of spiders they think of halloween but not in this case.Hi ,this is juliet here with the dish on the newest news,the spider…….Ay apprompextly 2:30, there was reports of small spiders by the snack stand turing into a girl.That girl would thenstart tieing everyone in a spider web.MAny people were concerned that they will not come out if the girl or spider keeps doing this, we have no awnsers for you right now but the beach will be closed on June 24-July 1 for investgation and the snack stand will remain closed until this spider is caught.Im juliet on the virgina beach bums.

Doodle 4 Google is an program that Google runs for young artists that are entered in a competition to win their picture on a Google home page.Many people enter from grades k-12 and only 50 kids from each grade get chosen.Here is a picture from last year,

In my English class we have been reading the book down a dark hall focusing on the Gothic element of the story.This book was about a girl named kit who was sent to boarding school called Black wood with 3 other girls named Sandy,Lynda, and Ruth.All of these girls had their own dorm room with two keys.These girls had talents Math,Music,Art,and Poetry.All the girls had been amazed that at the turnout of their talents.Black wood brought the best out of them.The founder, Madame Duret, and her son Jules were teachers along with Professor Farley were all in on a scan to use the girls for something. But the question is, what is that something????

My opinion on the book

My opinion on the book is that it was so good!I normally do not go close to anything scary but in this case all I wanted to do was read it. I would recommend this book to a friend because of all of the things that were going on it was so intense but if they are not into books like this they might just change their mind and find than self reading another one of Lois Duncan's books!

Challenge-Try to read one of Lois Duncan's books one day.

The NJ Ask is a standardized test that all students in New Jersey have been taking for a long time.This test is given to grades 3-8.And the time is coming up again to take it and all kids have their worried faces on.This is the last year of the NJ Ask and then a new test is coming called the New Jersey Park.Witch is entirely taken on computers,so to make it just a little bit tougher they changed some rules.Teachers can not have their phone in the classroom or all tests will be voided and will be retaken.Also now the children in grades 3-5 have their classes changed and the 6-8 kids have all of their periods changed around.It is crazy how they dealt with these kids.If the NJ Ask just stuck around it would be easier on the kids taking it.

My opinion is that the NJ Ask should be easier on kids. This is making the test Evan more stressful on the kids and when you are stressed you do not focus, not at all.This is reasons why all of this is bad.

Have you ever bitten into the perfect piece of food that just tastes son good the flavor could last forever?If you are like me, that food is a cupcake.Cupcakes are a sweet treat that many people enjoy.They are cake with a fluffy inside and on top they are smooth and coated with icing, sprinkles, berries, and more!!!!Also, if you have a sweet tooth this is the perfect food to get that tooth sweeter.The cupcake evolved in the 19th century.In early times the cupcake was sometimes called a "number" cake.The cakes have gotten so good over time you never know what is going to come out of the oven next.

My Opinion

My opinion on cupcakes is that they are a amazing treat that keeps your taste buds on a sugar-hive.The low- calories ones are also very healthy for you.All of the reasons that make the cupcake its self are tasty too!Many things can come out of eating a cupcake as well.You can A. lose weight B. find an treat that you love C. and also always have a good thing to look forward to in the fridge.

March 26, 1874 Robert Frost was born.He lived a long life of 89 years.January 29, 1963 was his date of death.Robert grew up in San Fransisco California,USA.What inspires him to do poetry is his wife Elinor Miriam White who is also a poet herself.Some facts about him that are very interesting about him are that he In 1894 he sold his first poem, "My Butterfly. An Elegy, and he also is known for his later association with rural life.Robert Lee Frost is a very interesting person.

The shake happened, things are falling through the air, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE?Is exactly what everyone is wondering. What has happened is an earthquake.They are one of the most deadliest thing that could happen.It is created by when earths tectonic plates shift and collide into each other. The force of the plates will cause friction witch then causes an earthquake.Also after an earthquake there is something called aftershock that happens after the earthquake including the possible tsunami,another earthquake,possible wind patterns to be weird, and much more.This kind of disaster is not always a big one, as you are reading this you might be thinking that nothing is happening but really there are always earthquakes that are happening below your feet every second!
My Opinion
There is a device that tracks earthquakes it is called a seismograph and it has a paper called a seismogram that tells when there is an earthquake happening.It also can tell you how big or small the earthquake is.Every earthquake has a number that tells what size it is.There are not a lot of these stations that carry all of this equipment in it.Evan though they are very strong,they should have more across America and the world.

SOUR PATCH KIDS

                  A traditional candy in the world is definite made its mark thought the U.S. It is a candy with a little bit of sour then it turns sweet!The candy has been used a gummy bears,gum,scents,etc.The sour taste stays in your mouth.Gummy bears are plain and blah, if you add a Little sour it makes them so much better.

MY OPINION

                  My opinion on sour patch kids tare that they are sour then sweet. They have a pouter that is a sour delight.Sour patch kids are at the top of the charts in candy.This means that people really must like the taste of them.Sour patch kids are at the top 50 witch is really good for candy.

EASTERN ISLAND ALIENS

Did you ever know how and why that at Easter Island, they have rock statues that have been there for a very long time. People think aliens have brought them there .Also, some people think that people could have brought them to.How would you react to this?Would you be amazed and think that an alien did it or would you think that someone has done it .Currently there is an argument were people are debating how if aliens did this or someone else.In the debate "Do you think the aliens are responsible for Eastern Island statues?" I am on the yes side.This is because the rock is not found on the island or anywhere close to it, aliens are not like humans because they are different so then they would how different powers then us,and the land is peaceful so they had to be peaceful.

REASON #1

The rock that is on the island is a special kind of rock.It is not found on the island it is on,or anywhere around the island.It would of had to be took to the area.The rocks are 2-33 feet high and weight is up to 80 tons.That is more then a human body and a truck to handle.

REASON#2

A super awesome thing would have to have different powers then us.Aliens are different so that have different features apart of them.The 80 tons might have been easy for them to  pick up.They might have found 33 feet to be short because they are super tall.They could have handle the situation differently.

REASON#3

The land of the eastern islands is peaceful.The aliens or whomever put the figures there did not make a disruption to the land.They might have been happy creatures that once brought over the rock to help.The possibilities are endless.

CLOSING 

Many things that could have put the eastern islands heads there but humans are not powerful enough to do so.The reasons to prove this are that the rock is not found on the island or anywhere close to it, aliens are not like humans because they are different so then they would have different powers then us,and the land is peaceful so they would have to be peaceful.Aliens are to charge for this.

I CAN KIDS

                           Welcome! What I will be disusing today is childcare. You know how you can never find the right one and you always have a problem with it, well the care is the best. My mom works here and I am here everyday. They are open 5 days a week from 6:30am to 6:30pm.The best thing is they go by there motto, do everything with an I can attitude. Every classroom has the motto incorporated in their room. There is a guesstimate of about 50 to 60 kids currently in the school and they are always accepting new people.

MY OPINION

         My opinion on this place is that it is an excellent place to keep your child. The teachers are amazing and it is a great place to go to trust your child. The enivorment is a happy nurturing place. You will find your child coming home with so many wonderful stories about their day. Everything after a while will start to feel like home.

REBECCA SONI

            Rebecca Soni is a 14 time gold medalist swimmer on the U.S.A. team.Her stroke that she swims is breaststroke.In 2013 she held the record for 200 meter breaststroke at a time of 2.19:59 until  Rikke Moller Pedersen beat her time in the 2013 semifinals. Rebecca is an role model to me because she works very hard to get her medals and she is from Freehold NJ witch is cool because I live in NJ.

        OPINION

                         My opinion on Rebecca Soni is that she is a very important person in woman's swimming history.Her and her skill will always be remembered in my mind.

   Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8, 1935 in a two bedroom house with his mom and dad.His twin brother Jesse was born stillborn.As an only child he had a very strong bond with his mother.At age 6 he fell in love with music and got his first guitar for his 6th birthday.Elvis had many accomplishments in his life, one is that he got his very own star in the Hollywood walk of fame and got his face on a stamp in 1988.Everyone thought of him as the king of rock and roll. He sold over 1 billion records and his hit song was "Heartbreak Hotel".

Elvis had many quotes and some where very famous, here are a few and what I think about them.

    As I said in the first paragraph, He had a star in the hollywood walk of fame. My opinion on this is that if you have your own star that means that you have to be pretty important or good at what you do. Also the same relates to the other, having your face on a stamp. You would have to be really famous to get that and Elvis was THAT BIG! In concludision, Elvis was a very famous man that many people liked.

Diamonds are usually found on peoples rings but this is how they are found.There are a lot of kinds

of diamonds.Most natural diamonds are found at places with really high temperates.Diamonds are minerals but they are transparent minerals were you can see through them.They have a color like clear with a tint of yellow. This is why they are used in jewelry.

MY OPINION 

   My opinion is that diamonds are used to much on things and are not getting to stay in there home witch might be a cave or an rock.They should be used as a great sight not a rock on a ring.

Do you know what kills you .... KILLER TUNA!!!   Killer tuna is one of the most deadliest fish in the world.It has recently made an appearance on Sam and Cat where someone jumped over an pool of tuna and they were badly hurt. Killer tuna in the real world is still alive to someone people but it has lived for over 240 million years.Killer tuna is a killing object.

OPINION

There are some people that don't belive in killer tuna and I am one of those people who think killer tuna is a real thing.Killer tuna is an deadly fish and has the power to bite someone and blood will come.

 SWIMMING IS MY LIFE

The thing that I call my favorite sport is pretty self-explanatory.Its swimming, since I was at least 18 months when I first was in a pool and ever since then I have been with the sport doing lessons and competitive swimming. I currently swim for a state champion team called MEY, this is my first year and it has been such a great experience learning new thing improving day by day and meeting so many new people also.When I grow up I hopefully will achieve my goal of being an Olympian gold medalist champion.

MY OPINION 

    My opinion on swimming is that it is one of the best sports to do because it is so much fun and you get a really good work out while you are doing it.The strokes can be hard but if you push yourself.
